Its time to get serious about elections. The most damaging thing that an elected official does is appoint Conservative judges in SCOTUS as well as federal judges. The absolute power of SCOTUS is not in our original Constitution, it was granted via a the Dred Scott case in 1803. Those 18,000 women doing block walking in Texas need to go get ten and put 180,000 women out in poor neighborhoods where theyre sitting doing nothing and throw every Conservative out of office in Texas. Then we can have another Court Case that overturns Dred Scott but it requires voter registration to keep these crazy Republicans and their war on women out, out, out. No matter where you live, you can help get Texas mobilized right now, because it can and will get worse if the choice is to do nothing. Its great that there are 18,000 sets of feet on the street, but there needs to be ten times more than that. Texas is setting the example. Ignorance and apathy brings us to this place. We can do something about that with just a little election work. Stupid people think marching and shooting cops is the solution, but the responsibility for bad government rests solely in the hands of the people. Bush dumbed down two generations by taking civics out of the schools to stop proper organizing and it is working. Only one on one conversations will get this election work done right so that we can get representation, which we do not have right now.
