Its time to ring in the New Year! With loads of success in the world of animal activism during the 2014 season, all anactivists out there deserve to take a moment and celebrate! Lift up a glass, blow a horn, and pop a popper, because with your help, 2015 looks to be a great year for animals everywhere! However, the job is far from done! There are still animals in need of help, and at this time of year, the heaviest burden falls to red wolves, and those who work so diligently to protect them. Red Wolves are need some serious action from YOU this New Year! With only about 100 wild red wolves left in eastern North Carolina, it is imperative that the small population of Canis rufus remains safe and secure. There is only one organization that can give them this protection: the Red Wolf Coalition. The Red Wolf Coalition, or RWC, works around the clock to ensure the future of one of the worlds most endangered (top five) canids. Whether it involves overseeing new red wolf sanctuaries, creating massive publicity campaigns, or opening up lawsuits to initiate valuable protective laws, the RWC is on the job, making sure the red wolf will be here for many years to come. With everything theyve accomplished, they make it look easy! However, nothing the Red Wolf Coalition does is free. The RWC receives no funding from the government, corporate sponsors, or or other large powerhouse groups. All available funding comes from private donors, such as YOU. Without private donations, the RWC would be unable to continue protecting red wolves as it does now. We CANNOT let this happen. The Red Wolf Coalition is as essential as the wolves it works to protect. Please do your part for the future of red wolves by donating $10 USD or more to the Red Wolf Rally fundraiser, linked below. Thank you, and we wish you the best in the New Year, Anactim, -Your friends at the +AnActs Team, and the Red Wolf Coalition.
