Its time to stand up and step up!! Our heartfelt condolences go out to those impacted by the tragedy of the Oso landslide. The Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce is collecting disaster relief donations for the landslide victims and volunteers. We are accepting any non-refrigerated food items, toiletries, clothing, blankets, gas cards, duct tape, garbage bags, bath towels and checks and money orders made out to the American Red Cross. Your contributions can be brought to the Mount Vernon Chamber office located at 301 W Kincaid St Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 5pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am-2pm. We will bring them to the distribution site in Arlington at the end of each week. Every little bit helps to support these individuals in this time of need. Thank you for your support.
