Its time to start working on the third book in my queue- Sacred Medicine, an exploration of anomalous healing. For this book, my scientist friend Dennis and I are going to be traveling to places where unusual healings have been reported. Well visit John of God in Brazil, Lourdes in France, Glastonbury in the UK, the shamans of Peru, the kahunas of Hawaii, the indigenous healers of India and Bali, and energy healers of the US. Well be starting in Peru and Hawaii. Im wondering if any of you know the people we should be interviewing there. Do you have contacts with those who would be willing to talk candidly about their experiences? We will be treating these healing ceremonies and rituals very respectfully, with no intention to exploit such a sacred process, but with scientific curiosity about what Western medicine might learn about sacred healing traditions. Any advice?
