Its true about cow and beef. Mahatma Gandhi has confessed about the mentiones of it in the Hindu scriptures many a times , although, on personal basis , he himself disliked or abhorred beef eating. Cow slaughter and beef eating is only a newly created Hindu problem, strangely though it is mentioned and allowed in their scriptures. If they follow their scriptures ,many scuffles and wranglings can just be solved peacefully, without much issues. Everything has been politicised to create barriers and divisions in the society.
