Its unbelievable to watch the SOTU address and see the disdain that our countries so called leaders have for one another! The grimacing, brow raising and facial expressions are almost comical. The same rhetoric and agendas rehashed, along with the same political opposition leaves this once great nation no better off today than 5 years ago. And before one jumps to any conclusion that partisanship, party preference or anything else is to blame, I am of the opinion that no matter who is in office, Reps, Dems or Independents, the outcome would still be the same. I no longer, nor have I been for quite some time buying into the illusion that we are any longer a Republic of the people, for the people and by the people. We have grown-ups running this country acting like children who cant with all of the greatest knowledge and technologies available to us, more than at any other point in history figure out how to repair this once great country, or is it that they really dont care to? God help us, because its clear that if He doesnt step in and intervene on our behalf, we will certainly destroy ourselves with pettiness, greed, selfishness, stubbornness and a clear lack of concern and LOVE for each others needs and basic inalienable rights as citizens of these Un-united States of America!
