It’s October! Help me save the boobies. This was something I was only doing with my clients and their friends… but so many people loved the idea that I decided to open this up to everyone on my email list. Not sure if you know this or not, but October is breast cancer awareness month. If you’re like me, then you may know someone who’s been affected by breast cancer. Maybe it’s even very close to home for you. In grade twelve, when my life consisted of university applications and hockey I was hit with some pretty life-changing news. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. As the only girl in the house (youngest of three boys) this meant that I had to pull up my socks and was needed more around the house to help out during this challenging time for our family. I am so excited to say that my mom is currently in remission and some of you even may be seeing her sweating beside you at boot camp. You rock mama. ;) This is why October is so important to me, Breast Cancer Awareness Month hits close to home and I thought we should do a little something here at Goderich FBBC / NV Fitness & Kincardine Fit Body Boot Camp to save the boobies.
