It’s Spring Cleanup time again. Beginning Monday, April 14, 2014, the Logan City Public Works Department will be working to help all Logan residents clean up their yards in this one-time effort. During Spring Cleanup Logan residents can put green waste on the parkstrip in front of their homes and the Public Works Department will pick it up. Green waste is material such as lawn clippings, leaves, and branches (basically anything that grows in your yard). Material cannot be longer than 6 feet or bigger than 12 inches in diameter, and cannot total more than 12 cubic yards. Please, no large stumps. To help our crews pick up the material, please do not place it by fixtures like fire hydrants, water meters, mailboxes or trees. Please do not put any green waste in the gutter or in the street. We will not accept any debris or junk, only green waste. If there is garbage in the green waste we will not pick up any of it. Please be aware that Spring Cleanup is a one-time pickup. All green waste should be out by Monday, April 14th. Materials not accepted or put out after the pickup will be the responsibility of the resident.
