It’s amazing what we can achieve when we trust in God and work together in harmony and mutual respect. The road to getting our own well in Pandy Town has been long and very difficult at times. It seemed like there were road block in every direction; we event felt that the equipment used to dig the well was against us because the first day we were to start working it got stuck in mud for more than 5 hours. While digging the well, some part of the machine fell apart and had to be sent to San Pedro Sula for repairing that took weeks, and when it finally came back, the repair was done incorrectly and had to be sent back to San Pedro, pushing us back even further. These are just a few of the events that took place that seemed to be conspiring to keep this project from moving forward. However, thanks to the collaborative work of God, the angels through whom he is working to provide funding for this project, members of the patronato of Pandy Town, the mayor of Santos Guardiola, the good hearted women of Pandy Town who has provided the volunteers with delicious food, and the hard-working young men of Pandy Town who has volunteered their time to dig trenches and mix cement, this project is moving forward.
