It’s been 2055 days since the XL Keystone Pipeline was submitted, however it continues to face delays from the Obama Administration. Once approved, the pipeline is expected to create more than 20,000 jobs on site and 100,000 jobs indirectly. According to the Energy and Commerce Committee, The Pipeline will “carry nearly a million additional barrels per day of secure North American oil supplies to U.S. refineries. The landmark shovel-ready project enjoys strong bipartisan support, and House Republicans remain committed to finding a solution to ensure the pipeline gets built so that we can strengthen our energy security and put Americans back to work.” To read more: energycommerce.house.gov/content/keystone-xl
