It’s been said, when in public or amongst friends sometimes - TopicsExpress

It’s been said, when in public or amongst friends sometimes it’s better not to discuss religion or politics. I can understand that when I see how “heated” some discussions can get even on FB. But I like listening to all points of view and respect their opinions as long as my opinion is respected as well even when not agreed upon. I prefer keeping my vote private and even when I ran for office I wouldn’t pressure people to vote for me but just asked for their consideration. A quote I remember when I was an Alderman read…. “Don’t dismiss a good idea simply because you don’t like the source”. I sent letters to all the candidates rep-ing me and only one replied. One thing I do believe in is term limits because it gives office holders an incentive to “get things done”. Having said that please vote on Tuesday and if you don’t which is your prerogative then please don’t complain. I hope you enjoy this video I made a while back to encourage people to vote and was suggested by a friend to repost (a little grainy but youll get the point)…..
