It’s come to my attention that there’s a group of Hoffa/Hall and UPS backed “yes” men who are using a fake profile to stalk Local 89 members Facebook pages. Beware of anyone who has a name that seems odd or is someone you don’t know, especially if the name sounds like an organization rather than an actual person. If they attempt to contact you or friend you, BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY as they are most likely using your page to farm information on you and your friends for their own purposes. Hoffa/Hall are the ones who changed the IBT constitution to invalidate our 94% NO vote and helped UPS shove the contract down our throats when our Local 89 negotiating committee was still fighting hard for 150 full time jobs, improved disability pay, compensation for our time on the shuttle, and countless other issues. Hoffa/Hall are the ones who are currently lobbying a federal judge to end the consent decree and stop oversight of our union elections because they’re very afraid of losing in 2016 to the wave of outrage over the UPS contract and strong Local leaders standing up to oppose them like Fred Zuckerman, Sandy Pope, Tony Jones, and Tim Sylvester. Don’t let Hoffa/Hall supporters use your Facebook profile to gather information on you or your friends. They’re dirty, gutter crawling pieces of trash that need to be swept away and forgotten. Treat them as such and block them if they try to contact you.
