It’s exciting times for the Ambassador’s Special Self-Help (SSH) Program. We just finished the evaluation and award process for our 2014-2015 grantees! After receiving more than 200 proposals from all corners of Zimbabwe, we’ve selected six grantees to receive grants through the Ambassador’s SSH Fund. Representing five provinces (Matabeleland North, Mashonaland East, Masvingo, Harare, and Bulawayo) these six grantees will be implementing diverse community-driven development projects for the next 12 months. We will highlight a new grantee each day! The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help (SSH) Program is pleased to introduce new SSH Fund grantees. Jibajiba Secondary School, located in Lupane District in Matabeleland North, is drilling a borehole and fencing the school garden to help increase nutrition and provide a source of income so the school can implement future projects.
