It’s interesting to reach the point in life when you start watching your internal predictions about other people’s relationships and other decisions all come true. I rarely tell goo-goo-eyed couples that their relationships are obviously bad choices, of course, because it’s clear that they aren’t the least bit interested in hearing dissenting views. The only frustrating thing is that even though I’m great at seeing what’s going to happen with others, I’m still lousy at making healthy decisions for myself.
