It’s nights like tonight that I wish distance didn’t exist. Or at least distance wasn’t so great. I tend to be alone a lot and do things by myself, and sometimes, it would just be nice to enjoy these dinners and movies on the couch with company. Or someone to climb through my window and talk to and laugh with, about anything or everything at all. Ive realized how small a life I lead, and Ive realized how scared Ive been to share it with anybody. Where did this all go wrong? Maybe this life has led me to the lesson I needed learning. Never take for granted the security and comfort you find in those you hold close to you. Especially the joy you have from being with those you care about most. After all, we are human and all desire affection in some way.
