It’s not God’s plan to keep us in this sinful world eternally. His earthly blessings are just provisions for our pilgrimage into eternity. Day by day God is moving us closer to our eternal home. Today we’re closer home that we first believed. Absolutely nothing can hinder God’s eternal plan for the saved race. No earthly power can interfere with God’s purpose & plan for our lives. No earthly peace, no earthly possession & no earthly pleasure can take our minds off the promise of heaven. There is nothing in this world worthy loosing heaven for. Every earthly pleasure, comfort or success is temporary. The vibrancy, beauty & strength of youth do not last. The acquisition of earthly wealth, power & knowledge is rendered worthless by untimely death, incapacitating injuries & debilitating disease. Our hope is not earthly longevity but eternal life in our eternal home with our Eternal Savior. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Rev 22:20
