It’s one week today since the election was called and to say - TopicsExpress

It’s one week today since the election was called and to say there has been some high lights would be an overstatement. First mouth off the rank was Palmer who was convinced that our Premier had called the election early because he was scared of him. Fairfax were busy trying to make a case for our Prime Minister being absent from Qld and forgot to mention that he was in Iraq trying to fix a terrorist problem. Pauline Hanson made a statement on her Facebook page and called our Premier a liar, she’s convinced the Premier called an early election because he’s afraid of her. I’m doing a special thread on Pauline she is at least worthy of that, I will try to go easy as I see she is still asking for an explanation. Shorten showed up, told a few porkies, had his photo taken in front of the reject shop and managed to get Fairfax excited about the Prime Minister not being in Qld again. The Greens made their appearance yesterday and tried to equate Global Warming/Climate Change the same as the terrorist problem we have, and talked about having the balance of power in Qld. Day 7 and this, I’m not sure if Glenn Druery or the author of this article have ever voted in Qld but if they have they would know we don’t have to vote preference here, Queenslanders have a choice of marking one box, personally it saves me the task of arguing if Greens or Labor should go last. If these parties are seriously meeting to discuss preferences then we seriously have a problem with the whole lot of them. And I don’t have any odd’s for Pauline. theaustralian.au/national-affairs/state-politics/minor-parties-to-harvest-a-major-sway/story-fnr8rfrw-1227182646373?nk=ed9f8acd64325b8e336a230d2955dc1a
