It’s with a lot of mixed emotions that I share with you all that I’ve given my notice at the ADA. I was recently offered a new opportunity as a high school teacher north of my home in Maine and I have decided to take on that new adventure. Currently, my focus is centered upon fundraising and development, whereas many of you know that my heart belongs to working with youth. This new opportunity would allow me to follow that desire and employ my skills. My last day of employment with the American Diabetes Association will be August 19th so if you need anything, please let me know by Monday, the 18th. My time at the ADA has been some of the best years of my life. I will miss the ride and all of you incredible people. I have had the pleasure of working with the most passionate, dedicated, and altruistic people throughout these last six years. I cannot thank you enough for all of the experiences, inspiration, laughter, and joy you have provided me during my time with the ADA. I appreciate your support and understanding, and I wish you all the VERY best!
