Ive always been a big fan of Cafe Miranda and this fall they started offering brunch alongside their extensive lunch menu every day theyre open (I think thats all but Wednesday). Were on a never ending quest to find amazing brunch spots, especially since our schedule at the museum dictates that we work a lot of weekends. Weve become major fans of Mirandas brunch offerings which include menu staples like eggs Benedict juxtaposed with their signature creative fare. The Thai poached eggs (pictured) are out of this world and the crab Benedict with polenta, which was my first breakfast as a married lady, is one of the best brunch items Ive had in recent memory. For fellow bloody mary aficionados: the bloodies at Miranda are exceptional and offered alongside a full complement of enticing beer, wine, and cocktails. Theres always way too much food and plenty to take home. As a Midcoast resident who works a non-traditional schedule (as I know many of us do!) I have got to say that its really outstanding to have a great place to eat brunch or lunch (almost) any day of the week.
