Ive always been weary of giving to homeless being from the city. But God did his duty by allowing me a chance to help a brother down on his spirit. As I wait for my food a man comes in and immediately sits with me at my table. We both commented on the blistering cold and just set there. After 5 mins or so he opened up and told me his wife died 4 days ago. We set in silence and he says Im so depressed. I told him with time God heals all...stay strong. He proceeded to ask for money and with out lying he says I want a beer. I looked and smiled explained I dont support people in such ways...but Ill buy him food. He begged saying please. I gently said no. I stood up after seeing my food was ready. I walked over bought him A sandwich. His response I love you brother god has a plan. - beautiful
