Ive always believed that Zimmerman was so eager to assert his authority that he forgot the fact that the authority was only in his imagination. That might not equal murder, but it doesnt sound like any form of self defense I have ever heard of. But there was actually no eye witness, and not enough evidence to support a murder charge. Even Manslaughter would have been stretching. The trial was a sham because the Prosecutor knew she didnt have the evidence, but political pressure forced the case into Court. She knew she would lose. In the end, I have to acknowledge what everyone else does, that we werent there, and our opinions are not admissible evidence. Be grateful. God forbid we allow opinions rather than facts established by the rules of evidence to be entered as evidence, for some day we might find ourselves on trial and opinions might convict us.
