Ive always known there are spirits in our house and I used to be petrified, but more recently I have come to accept them. Ive always known that there is a little girl in Mum and Dads room and a older woman in the attic who sat in a rocking chair and who Im sure was the house nanny. It always felt to me like the nanny had had a tragic life and had ended it all by killing herself. When I used to go to bed in the attic I would sense her leaning over me and looking at me accusingly as if I was an intruder in her space. It felt like she was a strict woman but deeply sad about something. Then more recently Ive kept hearing a piano playing and a tall skinny man in a tux has come to mind. Its never occured to me that these spirits might not know how to go into the light or that they might be stuck here for some reason. But my friend mentioned a spirit that she had hanging around and how she had sought advice from a medium about how to help them into the light. So, I researched it and today I did this. It turns out that this nanny had lost her daughter (the young girl) when she was very young and she had killed herself through the heartbreak of it all. But as the daughters spirit was still in the house, she believed she had to stay with her. I helped them both into the light. There was also a man who played the piano who had died before hed finished his masterpiece and believed he needed to stick around to finish it.
