Ive always said that New Rochelle, NY was one of the best small cities (population between 50,000 and 100,000) to live in the entire country. Ive lived in 4 states and taught at schools in 3 of them. Trust me, we were very fortunate to grow up in The Queen City on the Sound and to attend the New Rochelle Public Schools. Too bad theyre pricing us out of the city. Now we all live in Mt. Vernon, Yonkers, upstate, NYC or somewhere down south. Regardless of where we are we still carry that Huguenot (best mascot name too lol) spirit where ever we go.
