Ive been a TMer for about four years now and would recommend this technique-- or any consistent daily mantra or breath based meditation, to anyone. The times Ive let my practice slip for a few days Ive felt anxiety creep back into the noggin, affecting my thoughts, my creativity and my ability to sleep. Im just a much happier person and have more energy when I do it. It would be wonderful if daily (twice is better) meditation was the first thing we were invited to try for depression, anxiety or insomnia.
