Ive been at the Garden Writers Assoc. annual conference for the past 3 days in Pittsburgh, PA. At the trade show were many plant vendors introducing new plants. One, Baileys Nursery (wholesale) introduced two Hypericum from Dirr, hybridized slightly from natives. The other wholesale nursery was introducing selections, not crosses, of native plants including swamp butterfly weed and a very cool dwarf prairie bluestem that has outstanding fall color and stays very upright. Exciting to see wholesale nurseries doing good things with our native plants!
