Ive been back at Morning Sun for a few days. Amanda picked me up in Brattleboro on Monday evening. I have arrived. I am home. On the whole I had a really terrible experience in my travels and feel very tender and unstable as a result of many of my experiences. Im usually very particular and sensitive about curating my experiences and choosing who I interact with and why. Live and learn. Something I learned that is a simultaneously empowering and humbling is that I have amazing people in my life. Anastasia , my best friend and lover, carried the suffering with me without ever asking why or for anything in return. Im very grateful to have such a loving and compassion partner. Adrie dropped everything she was doing on less than 24 hours notice to wake up at 5am and pick my bum up in LA to practice reconciling with my family. I did a tremendous amount of healing with my parents who are working on understanding and accepting me more and more. And Im learning to understand and accept them. We have more work to do but I think there is more love there than ever before. And then when my family generously flew me back east to get home and I had a long layover in New York... Maeve , VJ , Nathalie , and Taylor saved the day like they do. :) Thank you to everyone who supports me. You make me very happy and you keep me safe. What more can I ask?
