Ive been busy with The Dare To Be Project during the last 4 weeks! There were two events in December. The first was an event with the Central Middle School’s after school program with @Cummins Cal Pacific’s help. Then, we visited the Hacienda High School-Day School with John Chen and Friction Racing Products’ help. The highest risk youth present the opportunity for the biggest trajectory change. It was fun (and humbling) to capture their attention and be able to share bikes, helmets, and locks. Finally, yesterday, I had the chance to hang out with a 7 year old, Arianna. We talked about her dreams of becoming an art teacher, perseverance, and of course...riding bikes! After, we surprised her with her own handcycle! SWEET!!!
