Ive been doing yoga now almost every day for almost 7 months. In that time, I know Ive shared space with a yogi or a few who were practicing on their birthday but nothing has ever happened in class like it did tonight... I didnt tell Lindsay before class that it was Beccas birthday but I didnt have to. Little did I know going into class, it was someone elses birthday across the room. At the end of a beautiful practice, with my focus set on Beccas presence, Lindsay asked us to hum a song she knew we would all know... In the space where I feel closest to Becca, Lindsay asked us all to hum a Happy Birthday tune. Shes in it all, in everyone, all around me. Its overwhelming... The gratitude.
