Ive been exploring strange art of the 15/16th century recently and this guy tops the list 200%. While many people may have seen his most famous painting, The Garden of Earthly Delights, every single other painting of his is just as crazy and amazing. Ive been struggling to figure out how he came up with such surreal images, and as far as I can tell he invented it! While there were people who copied his work, it wasnt really picked up until the surealist movement of the 20th century.
