Ive been having a lot of trouble since the concert dedicated to Dad Sunday night. It was a wonderful gesture on their part, and while they chose a song to play for him, Blessed are Those Who Mourn I think it was, I cant honestly remember what it sounded like. I think he might have picked Mozarts Clarinet Concerto. It was one of his favorites, very challenging and lets the clarinet shine. I think I only ever managed an abbrieviated version of it as a solo one year, I want to say that Dad might have accompanied me on piano but I cant honestly remember and wish I could. Like any solo it was terrifying! Have a quick listen at least to the beginning, which is the part I remember the most. Its lovely, and not at all sad. :)
