Ive been looking through Facebook the last few days and if it wasnt for the ALS challenges being posted, I think I would have had to really dig to find some hope. I tend to be an emotional sponge to whatever Im exposed to, and I feel surrounded by despair and intolerance. The news that has come out of Ferguson all the way to the most wicked videos sent from the Middle East added to the normal daily challenges of life has caused me to have a heavy heart. This is a person I dont like being. Its absolutely necessary to find more and more good news about this crazy world were in. I know its out there. We cant all live our daily lives being exposed to what the media has painted as a hopeless, dying world. There is good. There is love. There is hope. I challenge everyone to find something that is inspiring, hopeful, displays love, or brings happiness and post it on Facebook for all of us to share. Make us laugh. Make us take our focus off what some people are capable of... if only for just a moment. Remind us that life can be exciting, happy, and full of love. Even if you do it just one day.
