Ive been mad at God, I disagreed with the way some things have - TopicsExpress

Ive been mad at God, I disagreed with the way some things have gone, but I am wrong. Plus, I couldnt stay mad at Him. You see, He is all I have, my only option. If I separate myself from Him, where does it leave me? Nowhere and nowhere is even worse than where I have been. So, are you struggling to hang on? Struggling to keep you feet under you, struggling to keep your faith? You are not alone. Do you encourage yourself with His word? But better than that, do you believe it? His word? I am still learning about my relationship with God, the creator of all things. Here is what I am learning, He is always right, even if I disagree with the way He is doing things and disagreeing isnt sinning, as long as I know who is truly right, Him. As odd as it sounds, it is building a relationship with Him. Moses, known as a friend to God disagreed with God. When God wanted to destroy the Israelites because of their sin, Moses stepped in and disagreed. Moses friendship with God changed Gods mind at times, but Moses knew God was right. Abraham, disagreed with God when God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham tried to talk God out of destroying them by giving Sodom and Gomorrah more chances, in the end they were ultimately destroyed. God can handle your emotional outbursts, of anger. As long as you keep your relationship with Him. Too many get mad and walk away and where does that leave them. Away from God, not the right answer. He loves us, more than we could ever understand and it humbles me to know He loves me. Sometimes our anger gets displaced and should be at our sin and at our enemy not towards God. Some things that happen He didnt do, they are consequences of things we did. Ive asked God to not bail me out (a very hard thing to do), but to show me and guide me through this learning process (sometimes I get discouraged, because I tend to be a slow learner). He is good. he is patient and He will not fail me. It is better for me to learn from my mistakes, than to be bailed out from them. No matter what He loves me and He loves you. If youre mad at Him, or blaming Him, just stop it and know He wants a relationship with you no matter what your circumstance are, no matter where you are in your relationship with him. He is waiting for your return. He is always ready to welcome his child home again.
