Ive been nominated by John Forenz to share a verse...gladly...for several years my go to has been and is Romans 15.13, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (ESV) Among other things, our God is a God of HOPE. What a needed commodity as these difficult days unfold. My acronym: He Oversees People & Events. He truly is sovereign, and He will accompish His purposes. And in the cited verse Paul pronounces God a God of hope and prays for the Roman Christians that He would fil them not just with joy...but with ALL joy...and with peace...through the HolySpirit (ever notice He is not called the happy Spirit??)...so that we may abound, overflow, ooze over with HOPE.
