Ive been planning on this picture since my husband died a little over a year ago. Chuck was a flight engineer on the C-141s and this is the one on display at McGuire AFB in Jersey. After Chucks death, when I spoke to our younger son about getting my rig up underneath the wing of the 141, he said that it would exactly portray our strong marriage. So the other day, after contacting people in the military world, I was given permission to drive my PInkMagic rig onto the grass and under the wing and snap this picture. My daughter and I also got a tour of the interior and I felt my husband close for the first time since his death. Public Affairs on base interviewed us for a story on my Odyssey of Love and I connected with several of Chucks AF buddies. Determination counts for so much. #FWG rising~
