Ive been pondering strategy, mission and organisational complexity over the last few weeks (yeah, I know I need to get a life!). I have a question: If a two-year strategy is outlined and the programme presented suggests a likely five-year end-point, what am I supposed to think? Endurance, intentionality, commitment, and focus are, I think, indicators of Christian discipleship but so too are careful estimation, sustainability, and flexibility. Im not having a go at strategy but trying to understand the psychology that accompanies it and the theology that informs it. FB friends?
