Ive been pretty outspoken here on FB about the abuse of power and rage that too many police officers embody...BUT, murdering police officers all in the name of a cause or paranoia is NOT the way to keep our law enforcement officials in check. These actions by just even a small handful of extremists rattles me deeply and sets those of us back who want to see the legal system serve justice to officers that do indeed break the law themselves. Non-violent protests, petitioning your local, state and DC elected officials, video recording officers during traffic stops or arrests, plus, using media outlets to highlight any abuse of power are ALL a much better and effective way to bring about change. Using violence to stop violence is counterproductive and instantly nullifies any cause or change you are trying to elicit.
