Ive been procrastinating all day about sharing this news. Im suppose to be at Disney on Ice with my baby tonight because she wanted to go. Instead I found out that my baby was the warrior that everyone knew she was. Her autopsy report came back today and it was a mix of emotions! Per her doctor there was no live tumor, meaning the chemo and transplants done the job and she kicked cancers butt! Her airway was extremely swollen and she wasnt able to breathe. There was no real way of knowing this was going to happen and it hurts so bad knowing she was winning the battle, but couldnt complete the fight! The opening in her airway was just 3mls. I could only imagine the struggle my baby had those last moments but I know what she wouldve had to face to still be here. I have comfort in knowing that she didnt suffer.
