Ive been saying for a long, long time that I need a shrink, but I cant afford it and I dont have insurance. My psych teacher told me today that my school offers free counseling for students. So I went and I made an appointment. I only get 8 sessions, but 8 sessions is much better than my current 0. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar, especially having them all together, makes things really difficult for me. In the past year Ive made really great strides on my own, and Im so proud of myself for that. But I know I cant fix it all by myself, I need a professional. At least I can admit it and get the help that I need. Im really excited for this. Time to get my head right and prepare myself for a brighter future.
