Ive been saying for over a decade that Australia should not be so neglectful in its relations with India. We do not need to follow the USAs lead to be a good ally. If the USA wants to dig its own grave we shouldnt be required to follow suit. We do not need to send billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan and Bangladesh, both of which give us nothing in return and continue to harbour and fund terrorist organisations bent on our destruction. Our agriculture, mining, and services industries stand to gain many billions of dollars from freer and stronger trade and diplomatic ties with India.
