Ive been up all night the past three nights, because Sarah Hassan Galadari had her four months vaccination and is adjusting to our return. Im tired, but as long as she is well, I know I will be alright. But I cant help but wonder about kids with no parents, kids who are far away from the definition of the safety zone they deserve to live in. I wonder who sings them a lullaby? Who cuddles and cradles them to sleep? Who rubs their tiny back and forehead for comfort, who hears them cry or feel for their distress and pain. Sometimes, there is little a mom can do to actually relief the pain, but for a child, the sheer knowledge of having a loving parent who will feel their pain and will stand by them till they feel better is all what they need to get through whatever is troubling them. I pray for the tiny souls who dont have a tender hand that touches them, a kind eye to look back at their tiny faces, a lip that kisses them and smile, an arm to hold their tiny trembling bodies. I pray they find love and reassurance in whatever form possible just to keeps them going. I sure took my moms love for granted, being loved is a blessing.
