Ive been waiting for The Fifth Estate since the Wikileaks story broke. The mechanics behind how they sent this information is complicated but the photography and montage both use a cinematic style that alludes to how complex mining all of these data and files exactly came about. (Which makes it easier for us non techies to understand.) More important, however, are the character studies, psychologies and emotional conflict between the two protagonists, Julian Assange and Daniel Berg. (And Ive got to give a shout out to my boo Laura Linney -- love her.) Very much worth the admission price, as you take a trip from DC, London, Nairobi, Stockholm, Berlin, Reikjavik, Tripoli and other exciting capitals.
