Ive come across some information just now which will affect all of us at sometime this year. New legislation regarding nationally recognised training courses has come into play from January 1st, 2015. Training organisations are now required to gain each students USI (Unique Student Identifier) from them before they can issue a certificate for the training under taken. You can obtain a USI, free of charge by logging into the following website, usi.gov.au It only takes a few minutes and will require one of several different forms of identification. If your drivers licence is in an other name than which you currently use (eg mine is in my maiden name, and I use my married name), it is this name that a certificate for completion of a course will be issued in. If I had more time in which to have completed a CPR refresher, I would take the opportunity to get my marriage certificate over to Qld Transport and get a new licence, however time is not as abundant as Id like
