Ive come to the conclusion as to why I enjoy the Telltale games so much (Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, etc). Its partially the great stories, the deep characters, and the immersion, but honestly, I enjoy them the most for the control. That feeling of Hey, I make the rules and no one can tell me otherwise that they give is just the perfect thing I need to escape my life at the moment that is sadly spiraling into something that I dont know. My life has changed a lot recently, for one reason or another, and I just feel...helpless. So yeah, Im gonna go play some Wolf Among Us now, hopefully talk to my friends a bit, and just try to let everything go from my mind, just for tonight.
