Ive completed hundreds of 5Ks in my life and I can honestly say that this one was by far the hardest...and the slowest one that I have ever run. It took me a little over an hour to complete the 3.2 mile course while completely blind, and only having a verbal guide to direct my movements. It was the most disorienting feeling Ive ever experienced and I couldnt have possibly completed this without the greatest guide in the history of all guides, my brother from another mother, Benjamin Burke... He was constantly watching my every movement like a hawk from start to finish... He would tell me the texture of the ground, how steep the incline was, how far I was away from the curb, from the grass, from the oncoming cars. He was INCREDIBLE today and together we accomplished something thats NEVER been done before in the history of the world!!! Love ya man!!!
