Ive decided not to comment on individuals posts. instead i will do it here on my own. Anyone who thinks firefighters should not be allowed to stand up for there rights to safe guard their benefits disgust me. Now i know with that statement i will offend. But. I regard the person who will put their safety and well being on the line in the pursuit of others safety in a much greater light than that of a person who has never had to put their body on the line. Before any one tries to counter this. the fire crews who strike and the army that cover them do keep a network in place to ensure the public safety in times of a strike. i for one think those of our nation who are brave enough to step up to protect the rest of us deserve a bit more recognition and respect than I have seen on my facebook feeds today, some of which have disgusted me and i have to admit has severely lowered my opinions of the people i have seen. RESPECT IS EARNED. ANYONE SAYING A FIREMAN DOESNT DESERVE RESPECT HAD BETTER BE TALKING FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF WALKING INTO A LIVING BREATHING FIRE AND WALKING OUT WITH A LIVING PERSON ON THEIR SHOULDER. If you dont like what i have to say. please unfriend me and never sully me viewing pleasures with your comments ever again, for your lack of humanity disgusts me.
