Ive decided on SUNNY. Hes had a lot of darkness in his life. Yet still, this big, angry boy let me brush him today. I called him Sunshine, the whole time- inviting the warmth and light that he deserves. He let me stroke near his eyes tonight, behind his ears. I said to him that Sunny was a beautiful, gentle boy. I watched him eat half of a large bowl of warm pot belly pellets with applesauce, banana, bread and blueberries. I told him that he was my Sunshine, and he was a good, gentle boy. I left him with a pile of blankets and straw and a bunch of hens who refuse to leave his stall. Because Sunny is a good, gentle boy. And his life is getting better by the hour. I dont care, if he threatens me with his tusk less face. I dont care if he looks at me with a newly-opened, doubtful eye. Sunny will see. Hes a good and gentle boy, and I love him.
