Ive decided to call my students scholars. Not students, not friends, not class. Scholars. A learned person with great knowledge or a student or pupil. We are to act how scholars act and hold ourselves to the highest standards because we deserve the highest standards for our own education. We behave, inquire, react, pursue, and obtain like scholars do. We have earned this title making it all the way from kindergarten to 5th grade! Phew! What work! We will be successful this year like all of the years before and we WILL go to college. No excuses!
