Ive decided to invest the next 12 mths investigating the literal interpretation of Genesis 1-11. You know, the world was created in literal 7 days, Adam and Eve were really our first parents who lived in reality and actuality, Noahs flood explains the fossil records, and the tower of Babel was a real historical event that explains the origin of nations. Im beginning to see how the Big Bang theory, Darwinism and variations of these secular world views poses significant threats to the foundation of Christianity, not to mention the theological problems when we try and incorporate these into our exegesis. To a certain extent Im almost embarrassed not to pick these up earlier when I was going around using the Big Bang and evolution to prove Gods existence. To hear a Catholic Priest share my shifting views so strongly, is somehow comforting. Lord, let me know you.
