Ive decided to use my Space Wolves from Stormclaw as a small allied force for my Carcharodons, ive decided to create my own collective of wolves named The Black Guard of Fenris. Heres what ive written for them, let me know what you think (im not much of a writer so i apologise in advance) Black Guard of Fenris Led by Baldur Haakon, the Black Guard of Fenris have one thing in common; they have all been left behind, assumed dead by their former Battle Brothers. Brought together by Baldur, the Black Guard are a collection of the most fearless and equally feared band of Space Wolves, their victories for the Imperium challenged in stature by only those of the Space Marine Elite; the Deathwatch. Similar to the Deathwatch the Black Guard don power armour and tactical dreadnought armour alike, covering their original blue-grey colour with a matte black. This colour allows them to stay in the shadows and pounce when the time is right, while also instilling fear in all but the stupidest of enemies. The black colour of their armour also carries over to their vehicles, from salvaged Stormfangs to re-purposed rhinos, the aesthetic of these warriors is as far from their brethren and their pasts as the can make it. Due to their detachment from their brother companies, these marines are seldom heard speaking to one another, merely flowing together effortlessly in the art of war. The only time these abandoned heroes make any sound is when they open fire with their boltguns and assault cannons, littering the ground at their feet with spent shells as they roar out their battle cries, filling the enemy with an equal dose of fear and bolter ammunition. The motive of the Black Guard is unknown, do they wish to return to their chapter or do they merely wish to fight till their deaths in the name of the Emperor? Only time will tell.
