Ive done a little research on this on the Social Security website and this IS true however, Ive not yet found anything that say rather its something you can apply for after youve been collecting regular SS for a few years. Im going to keep digging and let you know if and how to get this benefit.... I could certainly use it I know that..... It would be nice if it was retroactive but Id be happy if I can apply and just get it added on to what I already get...
